Kallpa Warmi (2021) was an art festival and collective project celebrating the work of women artists and artisans. It featured twenty-four participants from diverse backgrounds who expressed their creativity through craft and art. The project explored themes of identity, collaboration, and self-expression through practices like weaving, braiding, and drawing. These works highlighted women’s experiences and reaffirmed their roles as creators, especially in the context of everyday life. The exhibition included symbolic pieces such as cloaks representing constellations, braided hair that extended bodies, and maternal imagery. As Rita Segato says, "We are the weavers of relationships," and this festival honored that notion by celebrating women’s shared spaces and their role in shaping the world. The event also aimed to elevate the importance of creative acts in daily life.
